Office Visits

Our team at Athens Endodontics is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, high-quality dental care. We understand that you may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to your needs, and it is our goal to make you feel comfortable visiting our practice while providing the best endodontic care possible.

Before Your Visit

Before your first visit, we will ask you to electronically fill out our patient form so we can review your dental information and medical history (including medication and allergies) during your first visit. The patient form can be found here.

If you are not able to fill this information out electronically, please let our office know and arrive at your appointment 15-20 minutes prior to your appointment time to allow you time to fill out the paper forms by hand.

Arrival

Our friendly office staff will check you in upon your arrival, so please remember to bring these with you to your first appointment:

  • Your insurance card
  • Your completed patient information form

Your visit(s)

During your visit, we will review your dental and medical history forms, and take X-rays of your teeth for which you are being referred. After a thorough evaluation and preliminary testing, we will diagnose and advise a recommended treatment plan. The doctor will meet with you to discuss your X-rays and answer any questions that you may have.

By choosing to receive treatment by an endodontist, you are choosing to keep your natural teeth as a healthy foundation for chewing and biting for years to come. Please remember that your appointment can last anywhere from 45-90 minutes.
